Barder and the Flying Turban

Barder, let's just call him the neighborhood rescue dog. It's like having a local police officer roaming the streets daily to ensure safety. Yes, of course Barder's ability to fly gives him an advantage, but heck, he's one great watch dog. How exactly did Barder earn his claim to fame? The answer lies beneath the orange turban, which his owner Ben wears on his head.

One day when Ben was walking Barder around the neighborhood, they stumbled upom an old asian man performing some kind of ceremony, intrigued Ben moved in closer for a better look, but the asian man spotted Barder eating his grass and accidently completed his "spell" on Barder. Scared and confused Ben ran away, but before he could, the asian man handed him an orange turban and said, "Use it wisely with your menice of a dog". With a face of shame, Ben ran home with Barder right next to him.

When they got home Ben was completely confused, what was he supposed to do with this strange looking thing. He set it aside thinking that this asian man was a phony. Later that night while Ben was sleeping Barder sniffed the turban that lay on Ben's night stand then fell asleep right under it. In the middle of the night as Ben tossed and turned, he knocked the turban off his night stand and right onto Barder's head.

The next morning, the sun was shining through Ben's windows as he woke up to his Scooby Doo alarm clock. As Ben stepped out of bed he noticed Barder wasn't where he usually laid, Ben quickly looked around the room, but there was no sight of his best friend. Worried, Ben called for his mom. She came running in, but as soon as she opened the door her eyes opened wide as she stared at the ceiling, glancing up Ben saw why she was frightened. Barder was floating in the air, with the turban wrapped around his head. Ben's mom fainted, being too excited about his discovery, Ben ignored her as he yelled in order to wake Barder up. After a couple of hollers, Barder woke, as he lifted his head the turban fell off and hit the ground, followed by Barder's disoriented face. Ben tried on the turban only to be devistated that nothing happened to him. It was something about Barder, maybe the mysterious asian man had been telling the truth all along.

From that point on Ben and Barder worked with the turban to see if any other magic could arise from the mysterious turban, although Ben had had no previous luck with the turban, they discovered that if he wore the turban while on top of Barder, they were both able to float. Next came flying, by tilting back and forth Barder was able to go forward and side to side at incredible speed, it was somewhat of a miracle. Now, the two had a great power, but what were they going to do with it, just sit around? Oh no, not these two, they used their powers for the greater good, the public safety.

So where are they now? Well the fantastic duo have been flying around the neighborhood playing games and making the world a much better place!
